Steel Molding Platform / Steel Form Table
Steel Molding Platform / Steel Form Table
Precast Concrete PC Production Core Foundation Equipment Product Brochure
1. Product Overview
The Steel Molding Platform is the core foundational equipment in precast concrete (PC) component production. It serves both as the load‑bearing platform for Fixed Formwork Table Systems and as a critical component of Flow‑line Molding Table Systems. Manufactured from high‑strength structural steel (Q235B / Q345B / Q390B) via CNC cutting, precision welding, stress relief, machining, and surface treatment processes.
The steel platform acts as the bottom form (bed mold) for precast component concrete pouring, providing a flat, rigid, and reusable reference surface for side molds, end molds, and reinforcement cages. Surface accuracy directly determines the bottom‑face quality of the precast element, while stiffness and stability affect dimensional precision and structural integrity throughout the pouring, vibrating, curing, and demolding processes.
Various standard‑size platforms (e.g., 4m×9m, 4m×12m, 3.5m×9m) are available for direct purchase or customization. We also offer pre‑owned / refurbished standard platforms — evaluated, repaired, and resold — to help clients start production at a lower capital cost.

3. Product Usage Instructions
- Installation & Positioning: For fixed platform, embed anchor bolts or weld stops on shop floor; position precisely, calibrate levelness ≤2 mm over full length and secure. For flow‑line platform, place on roller‑rail system and ensure alignment with upstream and downstream production equipment.
- Side Mold & Rebar Installation: Arrange side molds, end molds and partition molds according to drawing coordinates; adopt locating pin holes, magnetic clamps and T‑slots for fast positioning. Place rebar cages and embedded parts to guarantee uniform concrete cover thickness.
- Release Agent Application: Select water‑based or oil‑based release agent compatible with concrete, spray evenly without accumulation or missing spots. Galvanized or clad steel panels are available for high‑finish component bottom surface.
- Concrete Pouring & Curing: Pour concrete in layers ≤500 mm by pump or distributor, compact by combined internal and external vibrators. Perform steam or ambient curing as required, keep platform stable and avoid vibration disturbance during curing cycle.
- Demolding & Turnover: Remove side and end molds after concrete reaches demolding strength ≥75% design strength; separate components by vacuum cup, tilting machine or lifting tools. Clean residual concrete, inspect flatness, re‑apply release agent for next production cycle.
- Routine Maintenance: Clean debris and check panel wear each shift. Inspect weld integrity, bolt pre‑tightening and pin wear every week. Calibrate flatness monthly and repair out‑of‑tolerance positions. Execute UT/MT weld inspection and full re‑coating on annual basis.
4. Application Scenarios
- Precast Wall Panels: Produce exterior, interior and shear wall panels for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, suitable for both fixed and flow‑line production lines.
- Composite Floor Slabs: Manufacture prestressed / non‑prestressed composite slabs and hollow‑core slabs, requiring large‑size flat molding surfaces.
- Stairs & Balconies: Precast stairs, balcony slabs and AC‑platform slabs, working together with dedicated side form sets.
- Municipal & Traffic Components: Curbs, corridor wall panels, bridge barriers and track slabs by standard platforms plus interchangeable side molds.
- Sandwich Insulation Wall Panels: Three‑layer sandwich wall production, high‑precision platform ensures uniform insulation layer thickness.
- Overseas PC Plants: Standard molding platforms for containerized mini‑plants and modular precast production lines.
5. Safety Precautions
5.1 Lifting & Installation Safety
- Steel molding platform can reach weight up to 15 tonnes; use lifting appliances with matched rated capacity, set warning zone and assign certified signalman for hoisting operation.
- Unified command is required during multi‑person positioning to prevent crush injury; keep stable supporting condition while using hydraulic jacks.
5.2 Electrical & High‑Temperature Safety
- Vibrators, heating pipes and other electric devices on platform must be reliably grounded; cables shall be overhead or run inside conduits with residual‑current protective devices equipped.
- Surface temperature may exceed 60℃ during steam curing; operators shall wear heat‑resistant gloves and post high‑temperature warning signs.
5.3 Structural & Storage Safety
- Regularly inspect platform flatness and weld condition; stop usage immediately once bulging, cracking or severe corrosion occurs.
- For outdoor storage, place on wooden sleepers ≥200 mm height and cover with tarpaulin against rainwater and rust; stacking layers shall not exceed 2.
